After several years’ absence, Cantabile Chorale returns to entertain visitors to the annual Thornhill Village Festival.

From the Baroque genius of Johann Sebastian Bach through classic Spirituals to contemporary sacred compositions, Cantabile Chorale presents a programme of music to nourish the soul, with guest soloist Mary Carr.

Cantabile’s annual community Christmas concert presents seasonal music old and new, audience carols and a festive reception to follow. This year our instrumental guests are a brass quintet drawn from Toronto's Metropolitan Silver Band.

Entry by donation of non-perishable food items to the Thornhill Christmas Assistance programme, plus a goodwill offering during the concert (no tickets).

Good Friday Charity Benefit Concert

Cantabile Chorale welcomes local church choristers and a seven-member guest instrumental ensemble in presenting We Remember Calvary, a contemporary Holy Week cantata by American composer Joel Raney, as a fundraiser for selected social service agencies in York Region.

Strawberries and Song 2012

Cantabile’s traditional June cabaret spectacular features music from stage and screen, golden oldies from the world of pop, solo spots and audience singalongs – and not forgetting strawberries & ice cream, raffles and good fun!
